It was August 29th 1988 Michael was doing a concert in LA, Michael just about to sing Rock With You when he notice someone walking towards him. To his surprise it was none other than Whitney Houston, he went all shy around her. He didn't know what to think or say. The crowd was cheering for them both. Michael finally said "This is a surprise to see you here you here, I'm happy to see you here" Whitney said " Because it's your 30th birthday, I thought it would be nice to spend the concert with you" Michael said "I am glad you could come along."
The crowd were shouting DUET DUET DUET DUET!!!!! Michael said "You guys really want a duet?" They were screaming. Whitney said "I say we can do a duet what you say Mike?" Michael said "If that is what the fans want then let's do a duet." They sang I Just Can't Stop Loving you. The crowd loved it. Both said thank you. Whitney said "Mike do you want to do another song together?" Michael said "Sure that would be great. How about Rock with Somebody?" Whitney said "That sounds good" They sang 'Rock With somebody (Rock With you/I Wanna Dance With Somebody) Again the crowd went wild. After the finished singing. Michael whisper in Whitney's ear and said "Meet me after the concert." Whitney agreed to meet up with Michael after show.
